Thank you, Brother!

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

I don’t think you nor the rest of us ever imagined your last days at Youngnak being like this. How do we honor and celebrate one’s faithful service to the Lord, virtually???

Many thoughts are racing through my mind, but I’ll do my best here.

Thank you, Pastor James, for constantly pushing yourself and others to seek the Lord and His direction in all the different roles you had at Youngnak. You were the “original swiss-army knife”, before a fellow USC alum took upon that title in recent years.

You always fought the good fight with conviction and with tact. It definitely helped me, in not having to be the only voice for the 2nd and 3rd generations of Korean Americans!

But, as we all know, you couldn’t have done any of the above without your two #1 fan’s, Hannah and Abby. Thank you, Hannah and Abby, for your love and care for P. James, and for always being that family that dressed up for Hallelujah night! Our family will miss you and Youngnak will miss the Lee’s!

As you follow God’s new assignment for you and your family, we are comforted knowing that we will always be connected through Jesus and though you have “fought the good fight” here at Youngnak, as written in 2 Timothy 4:7, your race is not over!

So, let’s go!!!

Thank you and bless you, brother!
